If you’re an activist and people are interested in hearing about what you’re talking about you could atleast give them something, as it stands you’re just saying s*** for no reason, you’re not putting in effort to educate other people

    Risk mitigation

Scared money don't make money, but uneducated folks don't keep money. It's important to have a stable base before making power moves because you absolutely never know what could happen.

It's why anyone who invests should keep 2-3 months salary on hand in the event of the unexpected

    Networking

It's not always about what you know and often can be more about who you know. Example of this is looking at real estate and business around you. In my area near the beach it's like -- how the hell did they get the zoning cleared for some of this s***? Deep pockets and connections

Listen to even the dumbest people and you can learn a thing or two (like what not to be doing).

    Research

Understanding your opponent or the road for travel should reduce the bumps along the way

For example, looking to rent a building that you don't necessarily live near? Check out the bar or restaurants in the area and gather as much information as possible. Traffic issues? Train station close by? Competition? Demographic? Get to know as much as you can about the politics of the area as well.

A lot of it comes down to the team around you, communication, and inspiring a positive culture. Any time I make a big decision I'm playing out 10 potential scenarios before that.

Not acting like I'm above anything, just decided I was done arguing with him itt. Good on you for trying to get on his good side but you should pick someone else 2 argue with.

I'm about as neutral as can be

nah, you said it was counterintuitive edit your posts if ur gonna act like you weren't saying what you were sayin

starting and participating in an act (derailing) then claiming that very same act to be counterintuitive and not worth doing is suddenly acting above something. and if it wasn't about derailing and was about simply being done arguing itt, why did u tell him to make a thread in a different section to argue with you?

and why are u only done arguing after u make negative and irrelevant claims about him and conveniently before he gets a chance to actually discuss them w/ you? u aren't neutral, u just play power games with words

he wants to squash s*** and i'm ok with that but in a different thread. if he's serious about business s*** we shouldnt be arguing itt.

like this is actually really simple to understand. just because i derailed it doesn't mean i have to keep it going. we can discuss s*** in a different thread where it's not intruding in the main topic. someone else is already doing a good job at pissing everyone off anyway.

so here's a new question. why do you keep replying to me and why are you defending him so hard if even he isn't even bothering with the s*** anymore? @op be sure to put this dude on payroll. he's working hard 2 earn your respect. i'm sure he'll be just fine with a spot under your desk

i aint defending him for his sake, im against u in this scenario cus u went outta the way to start s*** itt and then when you got a response, you took an easy way out of acting cavalier instead of following up on ur claims.

when he's showing he's serious about talking business s***, you pop up and create bs; when he's showing he's serious about taking your bs seriously, you say oh we need to leave this space for business talk.

you gotta see how that's ridiculous
