    Just finished rewatching this.

    Django
    Once Upon a Time

I have trouble ranking the rest. Kill Bill Vol 1 & 2, Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown are all about the same for me. Hard to put them in an order.

    What’s that?

It’s either a script he wrote or just an idea he had. It was about a group of black soldiers in WWII who got screwed over and left behind by US command and its just about them getting revenge or whatever. Idk you’ll have to look it up

I just want that bc I loved Basterds, but i bet it’d be too similar and that’s why he dropped it

edit: here’s an article from 2012

It was suppose to be a spin off type sequel to Basterds also

  • didn't think it was qt's best.. maybe I need to watch it again but I found the whole thing too long with a ton of filler

Everything Basterds related would be goat. He nailed the war genre, my favorite scene in Hollywood was probably Leo playing a Nazi killer lol.

So many casuals on my Facebook are like "I didn't like this. It was too long the only good part was the end"

Lol the end was where it probably started to slip, I thought QT was actually trying to say something but couldn't really finish his arc on Rick Dalton or connect stories with Tate, instead just got bit lazy with the conversation in the car about going after Rick instead for seemingly no reason. I understand why people like this movie, especially if they're in the industry to get all those connections, but I honestly can't understand how anyone can put it on the same level as Pulp Fiction or Inglorious Basterds. It had way too much filler and was pretty boring for even a huge fan

First Tarantino movie ever I have genuinely absolutely no interest in rewatching even once and I hate to see it 😞
