Reminder: Wayne's biggest album didn't have a single track produced by Mannie Fresh.

I get what OP tryna say but I think an artist can still make a cohesive album with various producers.

    Thats cap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The rapper just needs a vision for da album and it will be just fine

it's mainly confirmation bias cuz collab albums between rappers and producers often involve a top tier producer who already has chemistry with the artist in question.

  • This been the case since the 80’s

MJ & Quincy made the GOAT album

  • coltrup

this only works when its a producer with some range though .. and those are hard to find these days

    this. Metro's an exception

  • If your a great curator like Westside Gunn, you can get beats from various producers and still pull it all together into a cohesive project.

    It takes vision.

  • madgibbs 1st was good the rest suck
