    Going through rare 90s hip hop is such a goldmine it’s kind of crazy. My favorite rare west coast thing was this g funk album by a guy who I forget his name but he had a crazy life story and is in jail for life now. The album was really personal and intense and religious and emotional, i’ll find it and post

    I first found out about it from a YouTube video by this dude gulleyboy, but the video is down and now I can’t find it. Some other things I remember is the cover was him standing on some grass or something and in the sky is a picture of his mother. And the dude had a weird name, I can’t put my finger on it but almost like Muzzy or something lol. I really hope I can find it

    F*** dude, I'm pretty sure I know what album you're talking about but I can't remember the name. It's gonna bother me until I do.

    It’s bothering the f*** out of me right now, I thought I could easily find it from a YouTube video but it’s gone. I put some details I remember in a post above, if it jogs your memory or you remember any details let me know. I think maybe it was named after his mom, like “__’s Son”? I’m not certain on that tho I just know she was on the cover. And there was tracks where he was crying

It’s described as an extremely rare CD from a Sacramento rapper who was given 25 to life soon after release. It’s one of the most human, intense, and unsettling albums I’ve heard, there’s nothing like it. Here’s the video that put me on to it which gives some backstory and review. I’ll let y’all find the album rather than posting one track for now because I think it’s something you gotta give a full listen and I don’t remember the highlights right now
