Pulp and Basterds are just absolute masterpieces. The over the top violence feels a little forced in KB1 and Django tbh. It just works way more in Basterds, not sure why

To Catch a Thief at 3rd lowest.
Yeah for now. Been meaning to rewatch it and a couple others of his. But everything above Stage Fright and Topaz are films i consider good or better, so the placement of films near the end of the list aren't necessarily a reflection of my thoughts on their quality haha
To Catch a Thief at 3rd lowest.
tbf that film improves with rewatches. At least that's what happened to me. went from good-ok Hitch to Top 10, close to Top 5 material.

Criterion real for restoring his 30s stuff first. Got in a debate with a dude the other day who was adamant that they should release a Dr Robot box set  dude could not understand how it's much more important for them to track down s*** that is at risk of being literally lost forever instead of releasing an average and brand new tv show that is fully available on Blu already. What an idiot; reddit.com/r/criterion/comments/g08qgk/any_mr_robot_fans_here_showcreator_sam_esmail/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

Crine at someone even having the thought that criterion (or any film boutique) would release a modern drama series like that in the first place
