Then I realized its because the R&B I listen to, raps a lot more. Such as The Weeknd, Teynna Taylor, Brent Faiyaz, PND, Roy Woods, Bryson Tiller, Jeremih...

So I was wondering if you guys had artist to recommend, and does this genre of music even count as R&B?

the velvet rope and black messiah are still going to be better than those you've listed who rap so just go listen to jeremih for a happy medium
