Not at all. There’s a stark contrast between the average ktt thread and the average reddit thread

Even tho both sites are majority white the average reddit white is out of touch with the urban sphere of influence. A lot of their humor relies on “wit” which actually ends up being corny cus they’re trying too hard.

Ktt is much more influenced by rap/hip hop and inner city humor which is more crass, hostile, and heavy hitting.

If you look at the same topic as a ktt thread and a reddit thread you’re gonna see how different the sites approach the same thing.

That plus Reddit’s most egregious feature being the downvote system. Ktt and Reddit aren’t nearly the same.
