What would be a very scary movie plot? Some that are not worn out.
Everyone dies. Theb the investigators die
Theb the whole town dies
Good question
probably one where everyone dies is the only idea that still intrigues me
A horror movie from the point of view of the killer hasn't been done as far as I know.

The twist of him not actually killing people makes me say no
Rob Zombie kinda does it with Halloween 2007 but then ditches it for formula towards the end.
That was the closest to what I imagine like the film doesn't get enough credit imo for showing Michael grow up and lose it.
I want a film like that but that never leaves them as the lead. Also maybe a speaking lead.
TV does it sometimes like with Dexter but not in the way I imagine like Rob did.

I myself prefer horror movies that are realistic. No demonic/exorcism s***. Just straight up human on human s***.

Woah, u just reminded me of a very s***ty movie I seen on Hulu back in the day. But I always felt like if someone else produced it, it’d be pretty good. The movie was from the killers point of view..good one

I think the scariest or most unsettling movies are something that take something natural and skewer it or make it "not right". Taking reality and making it wrong. Kinda like annihilation, i dont think it was scary but it takes nature and wildlife and makes it uncomfortable. For me i prefer stuff more like that than normal horror
VHS had an interesting one where somebody with a go-pro got bit by a zombie, became one, then went around and started eating people. Was pretty different from that viewpoint
