I think the scariest or most unsettling movies are something that take something natural and skewer it or make it "not right". Taking reality and making it wrong. Kinda like annihilation, i dont think it was scary but it takes nature and wildlife and makes it uncomfortable. For me i prefer stuff more like that than normal horror

idk about stuff similar to it, but some of my favorite nosleeps are the left right game and the stairs in the woods series. both are crazy good

VHS is an anthology movie. All 3 movies are made up of like 5 short segments that are all different. Some are really creepy/unique, some are dumb. Def worth watching VHS & VHS2 imo
