JbreezyondeckI’ll die on the hill that 4YEO is an extremely underrated album. It suffers a bit from sequencing and the “folding clothes” meme, but really people were expecting more mainstream music after Cole was coming off of arguably his commercial prime. I really respect him for dropping something personal to him. Some great raps and story telling on there
Remove Immortal & Deja Vu for False Prophets & Everybody Dies and it’s a classic

I do think Cole is a great rapper but I've slowly been kind of listening to his music less. The only album that's really stood out to me as one of my favs from him was Born Sinner. Ironically many people seem to think that's one of his worst albums too lol

I didn't really connect with that album like that. Maybe some time later ill throw it on and feel it
I liked a couple of songs on it but as a project wasnt for me
It's cool he did some personal s*** though but a lot of his music is really personal. KOD had personal moments and was better 2014fhd of course as well

yeah I loved Born Sinner aswell
never understood the hate other than it was a tad bit bloated but its definitley my fav cole album even from a production stand point

Remove Immortal & Deja Vu for False Prophets & Everybody Dies and it’s a classic
False Prophets is stupid as a song concept but at least it sounds good, funnier that Ye went on to outsell cole for years afterward
