DAVID PIt's definitely admirable that Cole was trying to express something with the alter ego. Just saying that it was kind of half assed though.

never understood the hate other than it was a tad bit bloated but its definitley my fav cole album even from a production stand point
Exactly people's biggest criticism is that it's bloated but overall it has his best work on it period
Sep 27, 2024DAVID PI do think Cole is a great rapper but I've slowly been kind of listening to his music less. The only album that's really stood out to me as one of my favs from him was Born Sinner. Ironically many people seem to think that's one of his worst albums too lol
His music is more or less the same since 2020, bunch of lyrical exercises about being the best
