The stealth system is to take out enemies on the outskirts to conserve ammo for the fights, you’re not meant to stealth the entire combat areas.

Also, the enemies are literally infected by brain parasites, and still can do cool s*** like dodging bullets, lay down traps (that they can get caught in themselves) and will break off from the group and try to circle around and flank you.

They’re literally mindless cultists trying to overwhelm you and use almost exclusively melee weapons.

It’s one of the highest rated games of the year and a remake of one of the best games ever and people are just happy to be playing and enjoying the game

Game is actually less linear than the original and feels much more interconnected, with areas looping into each other and actual incentives to go back to previous areas to collect treasures and things that you couldn’t originally access.
