The 3D audio is terrifying with some decent headphones
The changes to the game make it feel so fresh. I played the first half of RE4 again like 2 months ago so I can see the changes in real time

Mar 25, 2023SlingshotI wish the aiming itself felt as butter smooth as the og RE4 but I get they went for more of a horror feel. I just wish the game didn’t have to feel worse in the pursuit of more intense moments
Facts. Maybe I’ll improve as I get more experience but because the tracking on ganados attacks is better it’s so hard to duck and weave through a crowd in this one compared to the original.

Nope. You need atleast good AI, a few ways to play (especially when you introduce a terrible stealth mechanic) and some creativity with your mechanics. It doesn’t take much but apparently this game is GOTY with Callisto levels of difficulty

See I havent played this remake so i’m not speaking to how the game feels because they completely changed the combat from the original. You can actually movie while aiming now lol, that alone makes it way different and changes the core gameplay, so idk

RE4 has the best pacing and setpieces of any action game I’ve played. Fun from start to finish
