It’s actually insane how much of a bounce back Capcom has done these past few years. Honestly thought RE was dead as a franchise but with the constant back to back bangers (except RE3) of RE7, RE2, RE8 and now RE4 it’s safe to say the franchise is back on track. It makes me so happy this goated series is getting back the respect it deserves. Now give us a RE5 remake…..

In the castle now, Hardcore hasn’t really been too bad other than Mendez kicked my ass a couple times. Garrador wasn’t as bad I thought he would be, beat him first try 💪🏼

wait you playing through this on easy ? I am not a difficulty snob but some of your concerns are gameplay loop will be helped by at least staying on normal. It will feel like a cake walk on easy

oh I thought you meant you were playing on "assisted". Standard is normal. Hardcore may feel cheap to you though and game is meant for new game plus or multiple playthroughs

    "
Assisted: If you are unfamiliar with action games, this is the difficulty level you must start. The assisted group includes Aim assistance which you can change as your preferences; extra ammos when crafting; get healed when you are in your lowest health; and some discounted merchant items.

Standard: Standard mode in Resident Evil 4 Remake Difficulty Settings is designed for the average player or someone who has not played Resident Evil before. However, you can change the difficulty level to Assisted whenever you need.

Hardcore: This mode is for players who have played the game’s original version. Also, you will meet stronger enemies, and some merchant items will be at higher prices at this level.

Professional: This is the hardest difficulty level in the game, and you will find the most challenging enemies. Also, you won’t find many ammo drops from them. Therefore, this mode is only for the most experienced players.

Facts. RE5 setting was fine but the game was lackluster. Actually if they totally rebooted RE5 with the same setting I’d be cool with it. RE6 tho is ass they’re the f***ing Avengers going all over the world over the top.

RE games shine best when you’re in an isolated setting feeling oppressive af and you gotta shoot your way out

Oh I thought hardcore was the new professional this s*** already feels tougher than professional on the OG, I can’t imagine how hard professional on the remake gonna be
