Resident Evil games are just a scary puzzle game really
this is the whole bit
Ship section in 7 wasn't bad actually
That s*** was top tier ass. Game was damn near a masterpiece until that section.
I’m trying to go through the Resident Evil series. I’ve always wanted to but always struggled. I finally beat one with 3 a few years ago, it was on sale and short so I did it
I did 2 over the weekend (I just did Leon’s, I didn’t really feel like spending another 5 hours for some lore on Claire)
What should I do next? 4? Or is 1 necessary to play? I just despise those controls.
The fun of resident evil is managing your resources. Don't ever try to shoot every zombie you see, it's not sustainable.
Except in RE4, where you kill everything but still manage resources lol

1 is arguably the best with 2 and 4
Play both

Yeah I'd go with the remakes of RE3 and 4. Then jump to RE9.
7 & 8 are great also but kind of their own thing.

He should play 5 to
Assuming chris is gonna star in re10
wonder if they’ll do dual protagonists again, it worked well here
I got this to dust off my PS5, first time playing a proper game in years and this is incredible. I never get scared by horror movies but this is a totally different experience.

Chris and Claire
Leon pushing 50 and still ain’t put a baby in Claire or Ada come on dog you can’t still be a virgin

All the viruses circulating in that man probably made him sterile tbh.

Ngl, if you still not feeling it after 4, the tank controls just not for you and that's understandable. No point in forcing it, I wouldn't waste my time with the rest of the series if I were you
I hated 2make when I tried it and just completely abandoned playing it after like 2 hours, hated that I couldn't move while aiming. Played 4 OG and I loved it, would say it's one of the best games of all time
even with those tank controls, even though I was playing a 20 year old game. 4 was so good it convinced me to give the series another shot - I played some of 5 (Idk if I'll come back to this), gonna give 2 another go eventually and I've got 7+8 too

Leon on some trauma s***. You can see how he's affected mentally in requiem from his past lol.

He's got a wedding ring on at the end
If it ain't Ada I'm gonna fly to Japan and kick everyone at Capcom in the balls

assumed that line I’ll meet up with Chris eventually was hinting at them being dual protagonists in 10
But also capcom barely ever addresses plot threads at the ends of re
