Remake 1 is a classic but it didn’t age well, which is a shame because there’s really only one flaw that ages it so badly. The door cutscenes are so f***ing garbage it’s unbelievable, it’s a game where exploration is a heavy focus but that design choice ( they could have removed it in the remake ) makes it a chore to explore the areas. I’d put it higher up if they fixed that, but as it stands i found it to be a chore to play for a good majority of the game.

RE6 is f***ing stupid but in a good way, it doesn’t even feel like a RE game but that’s not a bad thing imo, not in this case. RE6 to this day has such an unique gameplay loop it’s crazy how fun and unique the game is. The gameplay alone makes this one of my favs, but i understand the people that dislike the game too.

I think it’s a perfect remake but I feel your critiques. I enjoy 6 if I have someone to play with but it’s pretty arcadey and gets boring fast

Mr X? He’s actually not that hard to deal with, you can basically run away from him he’s not fast enough to catch up with you on normal difficulty. You can also run to safe rooms, he can’t follow you in there. His moves are also really easy to dodge, once you realize this he’s not as scary anymore

It’s not really the difficulty but more just the anxiety of hearing him walk 🙁
