I can’t lie after playing RE7 and now going through RE8, I’m kinda inclined to say that I like the 1st person POV more than the 3rd person. It just feels so much more tense and really engages me more into the experience. Capcom nailed the whole feel of the gameplay imo.

it was rushed, with a lot of s*** cut (shit's like 5 hours) and they kinda ruined what made nemesis cool in the original

still fun though. it's not the complete abomination some people make it out to be.

it wasn’t bad at all, the game itself is great, but it should’ve been released as DLC for 2 if they were going to make it ~7 hours like they ended up doing.

the gameplay and even some of the areas are exactly the same as the 2 remake, the backlash is literally all because of the short playtime

if they cut the price in half and sold it as a DLC nobody would have complained

would have rathered they took their time and fleshed it out like they did with RE2, but what's done is done

Yeah re3 remakes needed atleast 2-3 more hours in the main story and a side mode but it looked good

Might play RE6 . Since the vets hating on Ethan games they now putting RE6 on a higher pedestal. Never played RE4 either but considering waiting on the remake

RE 4 is the most replayable RE game ever so honestly it wouldn't hurt to play the original and then the remake when it drops
