RE 4 is the most replayable RE game ever so honestly it wouldn't hurt to play the original and then the remake when it drops
Still wondering how a remake in the style of RE2 Remake would work. The whole difficulty of RE4 is the sluggish tank controls
5 will always have a place in my heart. Like come on co-op in RE5 was litttttttttttttttt but it's also fun to play alone unlike 6..... I'm honestly surprised a lot of people are ranking it under 6, which imo is a bottom 3 main series game. Like someone on a earlier page said it become absolutely boring to play alone because the allure of the game wear off quick. My own personal ranking is
RE2make
RE4
RE7
RE8
RE5
RE1make
RE3make
RE6
I don't think RE3make is bad, I just think they could have done better. I love how RE3make does fill in the blank of what happened at the police station before you arrive there in RE2make. That was probably my favorite part of the game since I caught my self saying "
so that's why that was like that in RE2make goddamn Carlos! :fist: " the rest of the game was a drag.

I thought RE4 was being remade in the style of RE7

Yea I've been thinking about that too
How long is Heisenberg’s level?
Kind of disappointed at how short the previous two are, you’d think the Castle was a preview for what was to come for each lord, but those last two were essentially linear boss fights.
Game feels kind of rushed tbh, not fully fleshed out, like it wants to present itself as being more ambitious than it actually is.

It's a lot longer than the previous two, about the same length as the castle or a bit longer
i'll play RE 4 in October, I'm not in a rush tbh. still got a huge ass back log to get through.
On my second run and the little subtle detail with story connections you noticed that you never would have picked up on in your first run are dope . Gives it more added value when you play again.
Mia *actually Mother Miranda* snapping on you in the first 3 mins, the bed time story connecting the 4 bosses. etc
And speed running this is fun too.
This game looks incredible but i watched too much gameplay and spoiled the whole thing

Imagine not going into a resident evil blind. They’re usually really short games
