Ending was well done and emotional compared to re7 😂😂😂
Man what a great game cant wait for 9
This game really picked up, just got the Lord locations marked on my map and I'm really enjoying this now compared to the beginning
Looting/RPG aspect of it is appealing to me heavy, it's like the perfect mix of survival horror/RPG/action; explains why it appeals to casual gamers especially
The story and script is its weakest point, it really feels like a cheap B-list horror movie; but it kinda embraces that which is nice
Also, the atmosphere and mood of certain places is UNPARALLELED
the incredible world-building makes up for its shortcomings
kinda wish I didn't play the two demos I played but nothing else was spoiled for me so I'm grateful
This game looks incredible but i watched too much gameplay and spoiled the whole thing
same man at one point i said f*** it and just watched the whole playthrough. just finished watching couple mins ago, dope game. i’ll make sure to buy the next one
Imagine not going into a resident evil blind. They’re usually really short games
wish i knew that beforehand. never watched a full playthrough of anything, but this game really captured me. just put on a youtube video cause it was recommended and ended up watching like 4 hrs of gameplay without noticing
first rage quit stuck on this fishy fella

Just get under cover
Just finished it.
It was okay. The castle hands down was the best area and everything else paled in comparison (similar to the Baker house in 7), with 2 of the 4 lords being basically glorified linear boss battles.
Also beat the game in under 10 hours, so I don’t understand how people were saying it was 12 to 15.
Can’t imagine those rumors that Capcom legit thought they had made the greatest survival horror game of all time were true, because that’s definitely not the case
doing my first playthrough on hardcore mode, it’s kicking my ass and I’m loving it
village of shadows boutta be sadistic

lmfao you probably played on normal to have finished that quickly. takes a lot of fun out of the game when everything is super easy
and also the series has always had “linear boss battles” so idk why you’d mention that as a detractor, especially when that’s how most video game boss battles are
I mean the 2 mid levels in general. They’re incredibly linear, mostly set pieces, and the boss fights for the most part were pretty bog standard.
Nothing as interesting as the chainsaw battle or using the car when fighting Jack in RE7.
Honestly, 2 of the lords almost felt on the level of side content, especially when compared to the Castle and the Factory, and the Factory isn’t even as well designed as the Castle.
Didn’t care much for the cast either to be honest, the Bakers had way more personality.
huge re fan here, and i loved it. thought the pacing was much improved over 7. the second lord with benneviento was probably my favorite section and i thought the only minorly weak section was with the fish man, but it was still fun enough and gameplay focused that i didn’t mind it if i were to rank the new ones itd be
1.Re2make
2.re8
3.re7
4.re3make
Yooooo that baby fetus chase part
I'm watching gameplay because i'm too scared to play this game but that whole sequence is so heavily inspired by P.T. Love it.
Yooooo that baby fetus chase part
I found that motherfucker last night and I was too scared to play and took a break and then went back in 5 minutes later and beat it
those sounds were awful
The Castle and Village were 10/10 areas. The House was great too.
Shame the Factory was too long and dragged and the fish area was a bit meh too.
yeah this miranda boss fight sucks tried to buy some more health from duke and i can only buy 2 for some reason after it went dark the first time that shouldve been the end of it
