Rather have him take some criticism and make an actual good movie. He gets the budget to make a huge Napoleon movie and he half asses it. Kubrick is turning in his grave.

I enjoyed this a good amount, but at its core I truly just want to see more development to make it well rounded. The pacing is strange in that it’s not break neck speed but it should have more time to breathe. It’s great to see Ridley is still a great filmmaker and knows how to make a spectacle. I didn’t have much issue with the historical inaccuracies as it probably lent to making the story much more palpable for the big screen. Really want to see the directors cut.
