This is what happens when social media believes everyone is forced to make a statement just because they have a platform
Not everyone knows what’s going on, she tried to act neutral just for the sake of posting something. People only want celebs to speak up when it’s something they care about.
Facts.
If you don’t say anything, you’re wrong and not using your platform.
If you do say something, it HAS to be the right thing and you must pick a side.
These celebrities probably know just as much about this situation as the average person does, maybe even less considering how busy they are.
Seeing a lot of people turn on her on Twitter. Likely performative and just for the likes/RTs though. I know they still gonna listen to her album once it drops
Stupid idiot. People like you and you go and say this dumbass s***. They won't forget it either.

They'll forget lol

I’d argue they will once she releases her album
glad to see ppl finally getting mad at celebrities and governments both siding this issue like that actually makes sense lol
No hate I just don’t think the consumer cares that much. It’s not a case of Gerald Butler in the 90s. I could be wrong
Stupid idiot. People like you and you go and say this dumbass s***. They won't forget it either.
No one cares outside of Gen Z Twitter nerds and stans
Acting neutral doesn’t help with genocide. If Rihanna wanted to help maybe she should’ve educated herself on the topic rather than bare minimum peace is love bs

That’s exactly the case
It’s like a bully picking on a smaller kid
And the teacher just says “guys stop fighting”
A couple pages ago I made the same a***ogy then I thought about it & its p fallacious tbh lol
If it’s 2 kids then the degree of animosity could never been as profound as between these 2 groups so the only thing restraining one sides use of power (empathy) is very much mitigated
Plus the pro-Zionist can also rebut via the same framework that if you are an adult & a child kept taunting you on something you value (for ex keying your car repeatedly) then eventually you’d gonna take harsh actions against them
Just an elaboration I don’t wanna involve myself in this & if I was to take a side it’s 100% gonna be with the Palestinians. But I’ve seen minimal international response when my home country got bombed so on a personal level I have to take a reciprocal stance

You’ve never seen 2 high school kids go to war
Wouldve been better if she said nothing at all
Don't know why celebrities/athletes act like this is so hard lol if you don't know s*** then don't say s***. I know there's this thing where people what them to use their platforms to spread awareness, but Dave Chappelle really said it best..."Who gives a f*** what Ja Rule thinks!?"
I am in no way fully educated on what’s taking place but can someone please inform me on this, assuming there are citizens on both sides dying what makes her statement outlandish? Like whether one government body is acting as an aggressor, there are still regular people who have nothing to do with that right?
Yeh real history is far more complicated but from my understanding it something like this.
After WW2 and after millenniums of attack and suffering, there was a wave called Zionism, which ment that the Jews had to have their own country, because if not they are never going to be safe.
So after the Holocaust, the Zionism movement really grew very strong. They had their eyes on Israel because there was historical evidence that Jews was there back in like 400BC or smth. The world felt bad for the Jews. The UK rushed the processed of giving the Jews Israel, and just said that there was part of Israel was Palestine.
Now the issue, there was a thing called the 6 day war. Where ALL the surrounding neighbor of Israel started to attack them, Egypt Jordan Iraq Syria Lebanon. But surprisingly Israel won, and since they won they expanded, taking apart of Egypt all of Palestine and other parts. Eventually they gave back some land to achieve peace. But they didn't give back the Palestine part, and eventually isreal started to settle in those Palestine area.
The UN was slow to react and by the time they reacted, there was Jews that already settled in Palestine area. So it makes the legality of it murky. Since there is a lot of countries that go to war and expand.
Now jumping into the present. The Palestine is controlled by a group called the Hamas. They are not willing to have peace. They don't recognize isreal, and was to kill all Jews. Litreally impossible to achieve peace.
Now this is scratching the surface of the issue. My only problem is people who don't know the history comments with their prejudice. Saying things like isreal is creating a Palestine genocide. Like ?? . This is war, and no where near a genocide. People think they are based and condemned isreal, just because in this situation isreal is more powerful than Palestine. Like imagine if you had to live with someone that wants to kill you, but you were more powerful than them. In reality both countries are at fault. There is no one side that is right. Siding with either side and completely dismissing the other side is exactly the problem, that would cause the other side to strengthen more their beliefs.
Edit: British supported Jews for isreal not since WW2 but since ww1
she tweeted free Palestine back in 2014 (and got dragged so she deleted) what happened 🤔 I blame asap

Thanks for filling me in on more historical information. I definitely didn’t wanna come off as ignorant but I’m glad KTT had been willing to inform me instead of coming at my neck
Muslims are the most openly hated people in the world today. I was in Texas a few years go and they talked on public radio bashing Islam as a religion and everyone in it. Imagine if that was done for any other group of ppl?
It’s really weird how that religion is treated like satan worshippers. Just look at Trump w that proposal to ban Muslims from entering and having a registry for all of them.
It was just a basic comparison to explain the situation dude
the comparison doesn't make any sense considering these celebs are in no position to control either side, not to mention the fact that you missed the message behind what was said. it's not about picking a side as much as it is about expressing that innocent people be killed senselessly
Peace to the spirit & families of those lost. This is a genocide that the media is not ignoring, it’s actively trying to launder and spin into a symmetrical conflict.
What made you say genocide?

his post is f***ing nonsense. the balfour declaration was way before WWII lol.

It’s not as simple as that tbh. There are minute details like Palestinian land-owners selling their own lands for money + Israel transgressing conventions just for the fuk of it. S*** has way too many layers & even principals of geopolitical sovereignty can barely address this. This is not even getting into the emotiinally-driven humanitarian side which cannot be ignored since there are ppl dying.
There’s really no diplomatic solution for this as history has shown. They’ll duke it out till someone falls. & after the hassle Israelis seen if they had any plans of world domination I think they now know it’s not worth the hassle
What made you say genocide?
Palestinians are being ethnically cleansed and displaced from their houses. Their places of worship are being burned down/bombed. The Palestinian land has dwindled. There’s no working definition of genocide that does not fit what’s going on. Netanyahu is a war criminal.
