Basically, there were farmers in India protesting a piece of legislation that affected them

A lot of the west is very anti-Modi and wants to remove him but india loves him because he's a nationalist

So suddenly all these celebrities and public figures start tweeting about what a bad leader Modi is, including Rihanna and Greta Thunberg, with the intent of causing unrest in India

A day later Greta Thunberg accidentally leaks a "toolkit" that shows her tweets were all essentially ghostwritten and paid for

EDIT: I don't support modi but i don't think famous Americans tweeting is doing anything substantial but make india look bad

“Hi guys, I don’t want any black or police to die”

Imagine how the black community would feel if she came out with a statement like that. Not even condemning what the aggressor did to an innocent man.

There is literally nothing wrong with this statement

Funny how there’s never any smoke for any of the Arab countries with TRILLIONS who could really help out and also who have policies that are detrimental to Palestinian refugees.

I live in the real world where Israel
exists and yeah they are 100% treating the Palestinians like s*** but damn do you really expect them not to shoot if they’re getting shot at? And vice versa.

This entire situation is completely nuanced idc what IG post you read that tells you it isn’t. White liberals yelling free Palestine, but if they were to live in there the day they do become free, they act like the people won’t elect an Islamist govt and ban any LGBT+ movements or any Western freedoms they take for granted.

false equivalency. the Jewish ppl are not in the least being demonized culturally and societally and in the media in the same way Muslims were post-9/11. AND you’re comparing prolonged ethnic cleansing to an isolated incident that rebuked an existing power dynamic.

the Jewish ppl do not need a #notallJews movement. they have more than enough social, media, national, foreign, and financial capital on their side already.

You are making two entirely separate points. We can hold multiple people and governments accountable. One wrong doesn't correct another. Saudia and UAE aren't exactly models for Ummah to follow in this day and age, they cut deals with Israel on the daily.

It is awful when celebs feel they have to have an input on a political matter (or otherwise) but proceed to just issue a vanilla statement such as this. No one asked for Rihanna's views, and the world wouldn't have stopped if she didn't have one. If she really decided to speak on it, she should have researched it 👍

And since you live in the real world there is no scenario where ethnic cleansing is justified. It's not a he shot and got shot back situation. It's a blow over and buildup of years worth skirmishes and responses.
