Only thing that came out of this universe is Zack Snyder's Justice League. a good justice league movie is all I've wanted since I was a kid.

At the end of the day I finally got a 4 hour HBO Miniseries type Justice League movie that was epic in scale and it was fire. Everything else complete mid.

the funniest thing in this universe is still having to remove Henry Cavill's mustache with CGI upper lip. they should've known they were cooked from that moment.

Gunn got all the odds stacked against him. Superhero fatigue, Angry snyder fans, nepotism and favoritism allegations, and some people still hate him for his past.

I think he's gonna pull through though and Superman Legacy is gonna hit different

Anyway, for all its flaws (there’s a lot), there was good in the DCEU. The casting for the most part was great. The downfall of those castings were the films themselves. I for one am glad that many of the films in the DCEU felt different whereas most of Marvels films have the same tone and structure. I do like a lot of the DCEU but I get why others don’t. I just wish WB wasn’t such a reactionary studio. BvS fails in theaters, hey go back to the drawing board. Justice League fails, drawing board. It was a pattern that just caused so much turmoil. If they hadn’t been busy trying to chase the MCU I feel like things could have turned out for the better. The characterization of some of the characters, while good at times, did not feel like the characters I grew up loving.

I hope the DCU hits the ground running and gives us a true DC Universe that can be loved by all.
