I can legit see them doing an angle where your character becomes the gunman for a conspiracy plot that goes back to the CIA
They'd never do that stuff for a US president. Just saying...

This the edge I’m talking about they need to keep. Doesn’t need to be anti”woke” s*** just give me something against the grain
I'm willing to bet money there is a mission where you have to assassinate a Cuban politician
would be too funny if the quest-giving npc is a CIA parody and you keep failing over and over throughout the game
i’m sure they’ll touch it but basically all GTAs are a critique of hyper capitalism/consumerism and the dumb society it breeds
I don't know. The Bloomberg article makes me think they will tone it down heavily.
I do think that GTA will stick pretty consistently to locations that an international audience will be familiar with, Miami, NYC and LA guarantee more interest than Atlanta for example, even if a map there would be cool
Pac celebrity appearance
That would be so f***in dope lmao even if its a 2pac parody
I don't know. The Bloomberg article makes me think they will tone it down heavily.
They definitely will
All the ogs from rockstar left even lazlo
Another idea would have been the stretch from Boston, Philly, DC to NYC. That woulda be a map they could update all the time.
Hasn’t this already been known?
this the first I'm hearing of 2 protagonists on some bonnie & clyde s***
I don't know. The Bloomberg article makes me think they will tone it down heavily.
I get the feeling that the journalist doesn’t know jack s*** about the game and Rockstar just told them the absolute basics. Anything about the game’s atmosphere is just an extrapolation from what he observed of the workplace culture. Not too reliable to go off given that Rockstar games are so damn expansive and dense with characters and plot lines
Even if the game take a more “serious” tone, like that of RDR2, it would still be fantastic. But I don’t really see it going that way, at least not yet
Aug 7th (🙏🏼) teaser trailer should give us a clue
just an overcast cloudy gta w narrow streets and no beaches
the streets need some f***in food fam.
these f***in pussios

I do agree that a serious take would be cool. GTA V was too wacky at times. GTA SA had a good mix of wacky and serious stuff. GTA IV might have been too serious for some.
They definitely will

Not my mans Lazlo
at the end of the day, how “toned down” can a game get when a central mechanic is ramming over civilians and shooting cops in the face?
Hasn’t this already been known?
This is the first info we've gotten on the game from an actual source
at the end of the day, how “toned down” can a game get when a central mechanic is ramming over civilians and shooting cops in the face?
Legit, I actively want to see limbs flying off in this game and it'll probably happen, this isn't gonna be Steven Universe

I'm not saying they will tone down the violence, but the criticism of US society
I want an actual Villain this time, and since we’re in Miami, make it a Cartel Boss scary type MF, GTA V’s antagonists were so weak, Steve Hains and that rich doushebag guy? lol
Dimitri was such a good bad guy in IV
facts need a gustavo fring type of nigga

I have a feeling GTA VI will be a good mix of wacky and serious stuff. Some things will definitely be more serious this time but we will have lots of funny moments too for sure
