I played GTA II for a bit and man that stuff was really special even if it was top-down. There was something about the atmosphere of that game that is just captivating, it felt so chaotic. GTA III had a creepy vibe to it. GTA VC had a flashy vibe. GTA SA was an epic odyssey, especially once you get banned from Los Santos. GTA IV was moody and dreary, GTA V was like a Hollywood picture. I do wonder what the atmosphere, vibe and mood of this game will be.

They had to take Stretch and the Chinese guy as villains in the Type C ending, two characters you barely had beef with

The final stretch of GTA IV was very emotional tbh. And it tends to rain in-game too. When Niko shouts his lungs out in the shoot-outs you really feel the tension in the air, determined to take your revenge

Meanwhile GTA V, the last mission on Type C is just "Hey, now let's tie together the loose ends of the story and for some reason Trevor forgives Michael right away"

TBH when I played GTA V the first time I took the ending where you kill Trevor because it made the most sense for me at the time. I didn't know Ending C was the canon one because it was like titled "suicide" on your phone or something.
