I’ll never understand this. Rodeo is dope but Astro is so much more of an artistically evolved album than Rodeo. Sonically Astro is on another level. Birds is great too. Super grimy super dope. He’s only put out dope ass albums 3/3 imo.

I don’t think this logic applies here for several different reasons. The most obvious being that Rodeo, whether within or without context of his overall discog, carries no where near the same amount of weight that Illmatic does for Nas.
