To celebrate 10 years of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and the Runaway Movie coming up soon, I’ve decided to upscale the video to 4K.

Some insight in the process:
Source: the leaked 1080 master (2.46 GB).

Exporting every frame in lossless quality with Adobe Premiere.

Using Topaz Gigapixel AI to upscale the images to 4K (in batches of 900 images).

Importing them as image sequences to Adobe Premiere and having it handle the image sequences as 23,976 FPS sequences.

You can actually tell the difference on a 1080 monitor too, you’ll notice a big improvement in pixel density, I use 1080 and 1440 monitors, and I can tell the difference on both :​😊
