You don’t just upscale the video. You remaster it frame by frame. It’s not true 4K but not any different from most 4K movies you can get on blu ray now. They use the same trick to enhance 2K footage to 4K. The quality is higher quality without loosing any details from the original. Technology is wild in 2020
