Honestly not even sure, Ive done hella job hopping and from different states at that. Just got me a new one at a restaurant lmao yeah it’s easy with retail & food
Biggest lie boomers tell is “the good jobs don’t wanna see you job hop” bro they don’t give two s***s
It depends. I mean if you're in high school or college who really gives a f***
Also I'm not gonna hate anybody looking for a better opportunity. Why stay at a job you're absolutely miserable at?
I do also think everyone needs to stick it out on a job for at least a year or 2 to show you can be a long term employee.
But I get it. Fast food and retail garbage keep looking for good opportunities man

Employers aren't loyal for s***. Idk why I should be. Every time I've ever put in my 2 weeks my manager is like "I get it" but then again I always stay at a new job for at least a year. Besides when I was in high school, I job hopped a few times back then
nah, i'm a software dev working full-time now. though two of my past jobs were contracts. left the last one early though
from april 2020 to now, i went from:
front-end webdev ($30k + college credit) --> T2 helpdesk ($40k) --> application developer ($70k + $20k bump after i get a clearance).

bachelors in infosys and that’s it, no certs.
ill be getting my sec+ this summer, but generally certs don’t do much for most developers.
How the f*** do find new jobs with all those 2-month, 3-months stints on your resume?
You know people lie on their resume right

you dont even have to lie as long as you have a good reason to leave

I was asking because I have an unrelated bachelor's and might look into the field. I mean it pays well and it's not physically demanding. Seems like a good career although maybe stressful

one of my old technical PMs had a BA in history, so it's definitely plausible to make the switch. people come in from outside the industry all the time.
quick tip though, if you ever decide you want to go back to school for it; try to get a MS, not another BS.
there’s this new thing op called lying on your resume. have you heard of it?
Lying doesn’t always work.
you dont even have to lie as long as you have a good reason to leave
Example?
The 3 months turns to 3 years mighty quick on Microsoft word lol
Nothing but lies on my resume
do jobs like fast food/retail/factories even contact ur previous jobs?
What’s the point of job hopping from one fast food job to another fast food job?
