Dec 30, 2020ghostI dont agree at all. This is becoming more prominent as fans continue to engage more on Social media with artists.
Octavian was one of the best new upcomers of 2020 and had his whole album rollout (and basically career) ruined because of a sexual assault allegation.
I'm not defending him in any way, I'm just objectively saying, his whole s*** was ruined in basically 24 hours after that allegation.
Happened to plenty of other artists too in recent months like Medhane.
Mmmmh... Maybe the woman he abused got her whole life ruined? Think about it for a minute
Dec 30, 2020Cancel culture is mostly good with some drawbacks. R Kelly and his kind get exposed all the time since people could share their experiences and have it go viral. It only sucks people like Michael Jackson and Johnny Depp who are innocent get targeted but even the justice system isn't perfect.
If someone doesn't want to get canceled they shouldn't do bad s***. It's so simple there's tons of people you never hear anything about because they're good people and stay away from the shady Hollywood stuff.

Lol cancel culture on ktt2 usually means that there is going to be countless threads about the artist for the next few weeks defending him.
The problem with cancel culture is that usually the people cancelling somebody arent the ones actually listening to him. The artists main audience usually gives no f*** or worse become defensive.
