Some guy on YouTube is slowly leaking the soundtrack
I know i shouldn’t but f*** it, same thing happened with Persona 5 and i don’t regret listening to it before it released, it just made me more hyped lol

Taking everything in my power to not look it up fr
Idk if i should get this, i love persona tbh

What do you love about persona? If its mainly the social sim aspect then smt v is not for you, there's none of that here, but if you loved the combat system, the dungeons and are looking for a darker story where moral choices lead to different endings then id recommend it

if the first persona you played was p5 then probably not lol
Fire artwork
they dropped the ball with artwork for smt v overall, its actually insanely terrible compared to IV and IVA, but maybe playing the story will make me feel differently

What did you like about smt iv that you find better than smt v artwork? I though the best artwork in that game was everything doi made and he's done also these artworks, and i find smt v to be more original and eccentric, especially looking at the protagonist's design. Maybe you prefer the cyberpunk aesthetic?

what I like about smt iv regarding to that is that it links/represents pretty well to the story, that's why i'm holding final judgement til after i play the game cause i could be missing something, but overall it lacks the composition and focuses on way too many characters i feel like. unless theyll all be super central to the story its almost like theyre treating them as demons.

i feel like the style of it was very grimey and that made it easier to relate to "SMT" while theres something almost concerning about smtv, it doesnt share the dark traits of past art styles, even 3

the art looks like a parody of ancient egyptian drawings or sum idk
this is really turning out to be Nocturne-2 though especially the general design of the world and areas, so it'll be hard for me not to love it + I'm the minority that really loved IV/IVA , Atlus can do no wrong at this point
From the tracks i’ve heard…. I’m not really feeling the music on this one, but i’ve only heard a few tracks
if the first persona you played was p5 then probably not lol
Played p5 first then p4:golden then p3
Playing royal rn

Tbh the way its been advertised all characters depicted seem to be important, so i didnt have any issues with them being there. I can see your other points tho, artworks for this game have been more colorful generally and i can see the composition not being anything of note although i love the cover art for example and what i posted earlier too. Its mostly the designs carrying the art for me, they're all great

Agreed tbh. Not the biggest fan of the smt v box art.

How do you like the combat, character building and whatnot? I think that’s the biggest thing to consider
If you enjoy spending 15+ minutes in the velvet room and coming back buff as f***, optimizing battle strategies and fighting tough enemies, SMT will appeal to you imo.
