got around 15 hours into smt nocturne thinking "hey this aint as hard as everyone makes it out to be"

I usually don’t care about performance that much, especially not on switch. But this frame rate in the third zone

I didn’t mind it too much before but it’s genuinely hard to progress with how bad the performance is here.

Hate to say it but the framerate somehow manages to get worse later on

I seen that they made a nerf to one of the areas (not sure if its live yet) but it wasn’t because of the difficulty but because it was just harder to navigate with the performance issues with the switch

black frost & doppelganger deleted the sector D boss by themselves. doppelganger is so busted this early on

How good is this game guys? I played and completed P5R and was looking to see how does this compare

If you are looking for heavy character interactions and moments. This isn't it. The game has a paper thin plot. Characters serve a purpose and it's to represent ideologies and not your buddies.

If you enjoyed the challenge of a good fight in persona this might be something you could look into. But SMT can be pretty brutal specially if all you have experienced is persona 5. However you do have more capabilities to customize your strategies as you build the main character and companions to your liking moreso than persona.

Game dungeons aren't really dungeons but big open maps to explore. The tone in persona dungeons is very colorful. Te dungeons here are bleak dark and truly give you the vibe of a world that has been fu ked with. Imagine the final dungeon tone but its all of them.

I think older smt fans might find 5 a little repetitive but a new Comer can definitely enjoy it.

How do people feel about damage being tied to level scaling?

Not sure if this was present in other megaten games but that was one of the very few negatives I found with this game from a gameplay perspective.

I know its to incentive you to not stick with the same demons throughout the game but even if you have the miracle that boosts xp through fusion the really low level demons will still be under-levelled if you wanted to tackle one of the endgame bosses and you will have to spend a while grinding levels just to make sure that the demon isn't being punished by the level scaling.
