yesterday I was hanging with this girl i've been fw for about 2 months now and she told me that she does want a relationship but things are just going on in her life to where she has to focus on herself and can't give me the attention she feels she should give me. It’s called some people have a high metabolism. Not to mention other factors like how active you are and what not. It’s not as simple as eating peanut butter for everybody fam. One size does not fit all in life

Trying to put on some weight myself, this pandemic lifestyle has me the lightest ive ever been in my adult life. Have been trying to exercise in some form daily and eat more then i need to combat it. It doesnt sound like things are going smoothly right now but be patient and give yourself time. The whole "marathon not a race" thing is true in life. Things might not get better instantly or tomorrow but if you keep pushing then its better days ahead. What trouble is your car giving?

If OP has little muscle, it's very unlikely that he has a maintenance calories level of over 5000, so binge eating calorie rich foods like peanut butter WILL make him gain weight despite what anybody would try to argue

Yea but eating a s***ty diet of peanut butter isn’t even quality protein with the complete amino acid profile that aids in efficient muscle production. Not to mention eating peanut butter would have a lean person start packing on their muscle with fat, no it’s just another smuck dirty bulking muscle with fat layered on top of it

What I'm telling you is that eating at a caloric surplus WILL make you gain fat, it IS a one size fit all in that regard because thats literally what metabolism boils down to
What having a high metabolism does is it sets that caloric threshold higher than somebody else's having a slower metabolism, hence the struggle to gain weight because people are rarely actively looking to reach that level when 'trying to gain weight'

But where did OP say anything about looking to gain lean muscle mass. He's built like a pencil, so gaining a few pounds of pure fat is not problematic for him
