Is there any stipulation how long you have to stay there? It'd be great if you wanna just chill inside and stack money for a little but Id personally assume most would find it be a downgrade in terms of living condition
Investment research
I follow a specific sector/industry of companies and publish reports/content on them
So basically A***yst?
i live in dallas and make pretty much the same. 22 living at home with my parents but moving out to downtown in the fall. Do it OP. I’m sure Dallas won’t compare to NYC, but it’s definitely a great city and not as boring as people make it out to be. Also, the whole yeehaw cowboy stereotype is not true. As a POC, you won’t feel out of place except for maybe rhe super duper wealthy neighborhoods but even then it’s not bad. Big Arab presence in 2 smaller cities called Richardson and also Plano which are about 15 min from downtown AMA if there’s anything you want to know.

Do you have an ig or anything bro? DM me
The move won’t happen for another year but I definitely will have a lot of questions later

Nope they just need bodies to fill out that new office and I’ll probably get promoted down there

Never been but you’ll be close to Austin and Houston incase Dallas is too boring, and you for sure would be stacking some bread out there compared to NYC, you could even go back after saving some money up 🤷🏽♂️
Are they paying your relocation fee?
If you have the option to transfer back to NYC then yeah I'd say try it for a year or two. You get to save some money, but you'd need a car tho
Pretty much
If you end up moving, keep us updated. I'm also in nyc but been thinking about moving out eventually
Might as well just start learning how to walk backwards too cause that’s what you’ll get
i mean it's tx but it's also Dallas so like
visit first week of August and then decide
Dallas is Lit, especially if you're in Dallas proper and not a suburb like Plano or Forth Worth. I'd do it. Look into a neighborhood called Deep Ellum. It has like a Williamsburg type feel.
Hell yeah you should, if there's nothing keeping you stuck there
Stay in that role for a few years, save up money in Dallas, find a higher position at another company in NYC, put a down payment on a nice place in the city
And who knows u might even love Dallas enough to stay. House prices alone would make me wanna move down there
Careful with them Texas white folks.
Just look at the recent s*** they’re doing with their laws. Prob going to be the first state to make segregation legal again
Bro acting like Dallas, Texas is stuck in the 60s or post 9/11 lmao
@op now you can buy a gun e z
