You a new fan? lmao
Nah, actually a fan of Ye since like Cruel Summer era, but s*** started to get pretty bad just in recent years.
At first it was like: Ok, Kanye has some people in studio to come up with some themes, brainstorm some ideas .
Than it turned into: Ok, some dude wrote that line and some dude wrote another one.
Now it's: Ok, some dude is saying exact same words that Kanye said on the final song, and he also rapping from Kanye's perspective.
Actually, nowadays it's like: Wow, there is a chance that Kanye really wrote that dope verse, but I'm unsure.
I mean, I've listened to Up from the Ashes demo, and there is Rooga's reference track for Jesus Lord, Kaycyy wrote 24(?), I'm so fed up with this, Kanye doesn't write rappy raps, he doesn't write songy songs either, so what the hell does he do, mumbling, dude.
Just work on some production (with your 100+ army of co-producers) and that's all, say that you came up with the concept of this person called Kanye West and all songs are about him, sang by people who wrote them.
Bro 24 track has been getting sung by SS for some time if I'm not wrong ? A reference track doesn't definitively mean they wrote the song

Kanye has had writers. Drake has had writers. Even f***ing Jay Z has had help.
Who gives a f***?
11 month old on YouTube, I'm sure they were singing it live a couple times

we need footage of Kanye with a pencil and paper for me to truly enjoy the song
wait thats not even the best part of the verse

yeah Rooga didn't write the whole thing just the opening. And KC didn't write 24. I don't see how these were the things that triggered OP

Do you care more about the credits or the end results? Cus this has always been the case for over a decade now. Its been the case the entirety you been a Ye fan
Kanye doesn't think like you want him to about writing, has been open about that fact and he doesn't seem to care either. like if you're looking for solo artist credits across the album then you been following the wrong artist
But I mean sometimes is so depressing when something leaks and it appears that he actually doesn't come up with some small stuff. Like with Violent Crimes.
I guess it's time to treat Kanye like a kpop band.
how do you know that
make he wrote it but wanted KC to sing it
Yall really dont want Ye to be a billionaire.
Mcdonalds employees dont slice their own fries or roll there own burgers.
Delegation & outsourcing is what turns small fries to big macs.

I feel you bro it is conflicting esp when we found out Pardison wrote all of Violent Crimes lmao
but I kinda get it, Kanye West the brand is in a sense just that, a brand. And its a brand that plays off the celebrity persona, plays off the headlines and what hes going through in his personal life. And he essentially has teams of hundreds of people contribute to his art. Even tho s*** might be ghostwritten the final product still feels authentically kanye and thats impressive
Every time this conversation happens it reminds me of when ye said that he is Shakespeare in the flesh... which is interesting because theres many theories that Shakespeare wasnt exactly one person, but a collective of the best writers/artists at the time all contributing to bodies of work that stood the test of time. In that sense Ye is kinda right

I was like aint no way rooga wrote this story about this pregnant mom. OP had me for a second
Blockbuster movies arent made by one person
Blockbuster albums like donda arent either @op
This^
I don’t remember who was talking about it, but they basically where saying it shouldnt be a problem for a rap artist to have as many writers as ariana grande or any other rnb/pop star. Every other genre has writers but rappers are expected to write there own songs, thats a little f***ed up.
Directors and producers dont write their own scripts and vice versa. As Jay said “It’s only entertainment!!!!”

Huh?
KC singing ye's part on 24 leaked but I don't think anyone said it was a ref
Thing is a reference track doesn't mean the person wrote it
It's just a reference track to hear that person's take on it. Their flow, delivery etc
Like how we Travis and Kanye versions singing the FML hook before Weeknd hopped on it for the official. Like how Ye and Cole each had a reference track for the same Rihanna song leak with the same bars iirc
I'm not saying that a reference track doesn't mean they didn't but it's far from definitive proof. We shouldn't misunderstand what reference tracks are for
