Have you gone to a dermatologist?
I got a bunch of stuff but no idea on the proper order to use it, this is what I have. 🤷♀️
Exfoliator
Facial wash
Moisturiser
Eye cream
Niacinamide or whatever
Rosehip oil
Night cream
If only my nose gets oily and the rest of the areas on my face are dry, does that still count as combination?

@Campari thoughts on this? im somewhat interested and wanna see how compatible itd be with retin a. Perhaps id need to alternate days between using this and retin a, or if i shouldnt even bother and just stick with retin a

The PC 2% BHA is up there with some of my favourite products of all time. Completely changed my life & it’s been 5 years since my first purchase and I’ve never gone without having an extra bottle ready.
You’ve been using Retin A for a while now so I’m sure your skin is a lot more tolerable than most people who’ve never used this or any BHA.
It’s very important to note that even though it says you can use it everyday, you don’t want to. Even during the day - I’d recommend not to because naturally your skin repairs itself during the night effectively without the environmental stressors such as pollution, sun rays and harsh weather.
Another very important thing to note is to give your skin some nights to breathe. Alternating between a 2% BHA & Retin A will wreck your moisture barrier. Give your skin some nights where it’s soaking up healthy ingredients without having to work too hard on treatments.
Something like this would work:
M - Retin A
T - Hydrate / No treatments
W - BHA
T - Hydrate / No treatments
F - Retin A
S - Hydrate / No treatments
S - BHA / Retin A / Hydrate (your choice)
If you feel your skin needs that extra boost then go for it, it’s a fantastic & effective product. It’s definitely compatible with Retin A but just make sure your supplying your skin that extra repair if you do end up incorporating it.
Anyone try this scrub b4
!https://youtu.be/M_KdvxjihX8dont do scrubs anymore. was getting microtears

In simplest terms, exfoliation is the process of removing dead skin cells, unclogging pores and providing your skin with essential nutrients to help begin a thorough repair process.
There are two main ways to exfoliate:
Physical: the use of a scrub and applying it to your face, with mild force, scrubbing away
Chemical: the use of a liquid/cream which gently provide the results mentioned in my opening statement.
Please DO NOT use physical exfoliators, they will only cause irritation and micro-tears in your skin. Something like St.Ives or Kylie Skin are prime examples of skin care lines that have physical exfoliators which only do harm. It may look like it’s working but they’re really not.
If you need recommendations, swift through the last couple of pages, there’s tons and tons of good information there.

you won't regret it bro, it's srs one of the best purchases I've ever made. Been using it for 4 years and can't imagine using any other BHA product at this point
Anyone have experience with coconut oil?
Coconut oil is comedogenic (will clog pores) please don’t use it on your face.
not sure if skincare related but i got a bunch of collagen to combat loose skin. i lost 100+ pounds

I currently use the Cerave Foaming cleanser with Niacinamide. I want to try PC BHA but I heard it’s not good to mix AHAs/BHAs with Niacinimide. Have any recommendations for a good cleanser to pair with the BHA? And could I alternate my cleanser on days that I want to use the BHA?

Hey! There’s nothing wrong with using AHA/BHAs with niacinamide, go for it.
You may be confusing it with L-Ascorbic acid / Vitamin C but even that has been scientifically proven to be okay.
