Saw there wasn’t a Terrifier 2 thread for some reason and was wanting to discuss since it just came out on streaming.
I was hyped for this movie and it blew my expectations away. The massive 138 minute runtime flew by and I was never bored for a second. This s*** was epic.
But holy f***ing s***, the death scene of a really nice character might be the worst I can think of in mainstream horror. It’s over the top and a human being would obviously die before all this s*** in real life, but DAMN. It kept going and going and going. You think she’s dead when she’s this extremely mutilated body later, AND SHES STILL F***ING ALIVE. And the way Art comes back with a bottle of bleach and salt and starts rubbing that s*** into her wounds? Bruh this movie has 0 chill. Damien Leone spent the lockdown working on this one specific kill and it shows. Really wish I could’ve seen this in theaters to experience that moment with a crowd
Oh it’s on streaming? Lesssgooooo
The first Terrifier was a cult classic so I’m hyped for this
f***ing cannot wait to see this movie. love the first one as a low budget b movie. it’s amazing

this one is like a high school/family drama/comedy mixed in with a heavy horror fantasy element that feels identical to the fantasy elements in Mandy. can’t believe how good this thing is.
the absurdly long runtime isn’t even an issue, the movie literally never lets things get boring and so it just flies by. I would even be down for an extended cut
Imma need to peep first
Found that someone posted the first part of the death on YouTube. But just so you know, it somehow, SOMEHOW, gets even worse. It’s the scene that apparently had people actually having health problems because of it. Art has just started on her by the time that clip ends. And all this is happening to probably the nicest character in the movie
But it’s so over the top brutal and mean spirited it becomes absurdly dark comedy lol
Having seen it, it def is up there tbh. It really does just keep going on and on lmao. Although I also feel it is so over the top, it just ends up being funny after a certain point.
I was rolling at Art just pointing and laughing at the end when her mom was yelling

This one is a legit certified horror classic, it really is the movie we were promised with Terrifier 1. There’s a good reason it’s becoming a phenomenon despite being released to theaters uncut. S*** had me cheering towards the end like this was Endgame lol
I loved the cinematography of the first one. So cheap, but in the best way. So vibrant and full of personality.

Bruh that feeling I had when it was revealed she was still alive and her mom’s reaction is something I won’t forget lol. The dark comedic timing of seeing the girl crawling towards her phone after all that and suddenly Art bursts back in with containers of bleach and salt had me dying lol. I just said to someone else that it’s so over the top and prolonged that it goes straight into dark comedy

This one has really vibrant colors and just looks dope as f***, and it pairs nicely with the dreamy synth score this movie has
Just saw the full scene on YT. Jesus Christ lmao but him coming back in with the bleach and salt was actually comedy
What streaming is it on @op
Looks like you have to buy it for right now, but tbh I watched it on a free streaming site lol. I used fmovies to watch it on my PS4 web browser

Did you see the part after where her mom comes home and finds her and Art? That s*** was even worse. It’s like you still don’t think it can get worse and then it f***ing does lmao

Oh yea, I thought about just doing that, I wanted to support the film tho legit
Screambox has the exclusive streaming rights I just read, it’s going to that once it’s done in theaters

Gonna watch the full movie soon but I put this scene on and it spooked tf out of me
It’s not even the gore for me it’s the way art moves. Its so fast and animated, almost feels stop motion or roadrunner cartoons. That + the big smile + the screams of the victim is like

Sounds perfect. This director actually has more talent than he lets on. Most importantly, he understands his audience, and he loves the genre

Yeah I’m still gonna contribute money to this film once I can rent it, figured there wasn’t any harm and watching it for free once if I know I’m still gonna pay for it. It’s worth giving money to

Yeah this definitely showcased his insane talent. I think his secret is out of the bag now lol. He’s definitely gonna be a huge name pretty soon. He was smart titling it “Damien Leone’s Terrifier 2”
Watching this I forreal thought the budget was easily $30 million, it looks a lot better than most movies nowadays. Found out the budget was $250k. Blew my f***ing mind. Haven’t seen a micro budget be used this well since The Void
