I don't know why you guys so worried, it's in the US, half of the performance will be censored XD
They will kill it, but it's sad watching clean performances. Bet Em will come out and do one or two of his songs and Forgot About Dre.
It’s got me wondering what songs will be performed

Doesn't seem like there's a lot of anticipation for a new Kendrick album tbh.

lmfao
oh nah eminem look CRAZY LMFAOOOO he look like a def jam vendetta character model
I feel like at this point his project might be dissapointing just because of the expectations that are associated with waiting 5 years for a new project, mans really need to come up with his best work yet
Kendrick's in a pretty bad position in terms of recognition/reception. Post-DAMN he was probably at the peak of mainstream recognition and success he's had in his career, despite TPAB being more well received in terms of critics (which doesn't matter overall, but he himself clearly seems to care about reception and criticism). The problem is that he's waited so long post-DAMN (almost legit half a decade now), unless he comes back like D'Angelo did Voodoo->Black Messiah level of masterpiece, people are going to think he fell off because of what's riding on it and especially his overall discog/legacy. In reality, I'm sure the majority of his time off post-DAMN hasn't even been spent working on an album or music; this is usually the case with artists taking post-album hiatuses, but the perception of that is never really conveyed to the public. On the other hand as well, while he's done a small handful of features and stunts (i.e. pgLang & KEEM), he hasn't really done enough to fill the gap between public activity the way his contemporaries usually do (look other artists like Drake, J Cole, Weeknd, etc. feature run between albums for example - hell, even more artsy rappers like Earl). There's an argument if he put out stuff too quickly that'd saturate his discog/legacy too though especially if the immediate work wasn't as good as his predecessor albums, so he's really stuck between a rock and a hard place. As someone else said in the thread though too, he's definitely also lost a decent amount of casual listeners - which may not matter to him necessarily, but that's also going to effect the perception and "scope" of whatever he drops within the context of his discog. It's going to feel like a lot more muted of a drop than DAMN for example no matter what, regardless of the amount of hype, unless it is for real an actual undisputable masterpiece

Yeah, that's what I mean. It'd have made sense if he did something major in terms of new music after the Baby Keem features or after that blog post. The hype levels were high back then but nothing new since then has basically made everything cool off again.

the hype is not dead you just sad nothing dropped yet lol
you don't find the business of the industry interesting?
I do I think its just the same old discussion every time a artist quiet
the hype is not dead you just sad nothing dropped yet lol
It's dead because he hasn't dropped or done anything.

Delusional. Family Ties went viral and people are thirsty for a new Kendrick album. Unlike the other two in the big three, Kendrick’s last project was well received.
People are already chomping at the bit to call it mid smh
Ima stay off KTT the week that s*** drops cause it’s going to be a s*** show on here lol
