I agree with you. Im not trying to make excuses. I just know how horrible and scary it is when you;re going through it. In my experience it was like i was in a different humans body and i actually thought I died at one point. It was just so surreal and so outside of what i realize was possible for human to experience, it makes me cast aside any judgment of people wiht the same issues. If i had my episodes broadcast to the world and everyone being mean to me about the crazy things i was saying I would have killed myself. I just cant imagine what thats like you know. Agreed, I’m all for giving people second chances (nobody’s perfect) but I think bigots more than others need to really show how sincere they are with being able to change and their remorsefulness. Also speaking bad on people including “good” friends who were suffering during their period of illness also doesn’t sit well with me and how he’d be able to reconcile all of that.
