yea?
the average instate tuition for a 4 years is 10k times 4 = 40k
average tuition for a 2 year is 4k
4k + 4k + 10k + 10k = 28k
don't some people want to go to a good college to learn from the best?
I chose the cheaper option like you explained, but I got lucky with scholarships and grants from Gov

did you work a year or two before you went? Did you do well in highschool? why didnt you go to community school for the first two years?

Didn't know any better, was told to go straight to uni for majority of the time, got a scholarship for four years from UH for my grades, didn't have a gap year, and I took 5 classes a semester. Worked only weekends so I was broke majority of the time.
Finished debt free though.
Im the only person I think graduated debt free though
you're still avoiding the question
the average instate tuition for a 4 years is 10k times 4 = 40k
average tuition for a 2 year is 4k
4k + 4k + 10k + 10k = 28k
do you remember think that if you work two years while staying at home then continue to work while in school you cant get 28k?
I'm not avoiding s*** I'm telling you I'm literally living through this.
If I worked full time for two years, after taxes (WITH ABSOLUTELY NO BENEFITS AND NO EXPENSES AT ALL) instead of going to community college, I would have $43,000 (if I did not spend one single dollar of that money).
That is not enough for me to go to community college and my four year school. It's beyond me how you're trying to tell me how my life would work if I did this or that.
