the entire modern push for socialism is that the rich are stealing the surplus from the working class and using it to pay for extravagant vacations, fancy restaurants, etc. etc. and destroying the planet and everyone elses quality of life in the process

Actually tbh if the wealthiest people began to pay appropriate taxes (btw im not equating taxes to socialism lol) we could up the standard of living of everyone within a country, especially when they make more money than anyone would know what to do with, like people making 12 figures? lol

So first of all the ultra-wealthy would be a focus and its a preposterous amount of wealth they have to the point it doesn't even make sense

Second of all I don't know why people are cool with workers doing backbreaking work full time but living in squalor especially if they have families, and have this view of the ultra-wealthy as the greatest hustlers "oh i could be like them one day if I grind" type s***
