I agree with that specific statement (that the democratic party is too far right). I don't consider them the same though.

But you are aware Republicans are shifting more to the right too? Trump is far right. The centre right becomes the relative left when faced with the far right.

There has never been a bigger difference between the two candidates. Trump is literally the face inequality. He is evil to the core. He sees no value at all in helping any vulnerable groups of people.

regardless of all this, a lot of dems are a part of the problem, and need to be held accountable. that doesn't mean i'm not going to vote and not be glad when good things get accomplished here or there, like credit where its due, but at the same time when he takes office this is the time progressives have to put their foot on the gas with a lot of the platform

Biden is a trash individual. Democrats are trash people for the most part. They serve the rich. The difference is they can see the value in offering help to groups who need it. People on the centre right can see the economic value in helping groups even if they don't really give a f***.

The far right like Trump see no economic value in investing in vulnerable groups. He would rather them just die. It is too much effort and the investment not worth it for them.

People act like voting for somebody means you are some sort of shill and must support them lol. You can vote for somebody and spend their whole term speaking out against them. You can vote for somebody and look for an alternative in the meantime. The people on the left who do not vote want people to rot under Trump whilst they look for an alternative. It makes no sense when you can offer some help in the form of Biden whilst looking for an alternative.

These feelings you have aren't helping anyone. It is too late to do anything about Biden winning nomination. If your political philosophy is built on rejecting everyone and everything that doesn't align directly with your beliefs then you are not helping anyone. If you stand on the left then the very foundation of your beliefs is to tackle inequality. You can't tackle inequality if you reject everything and let the right keep shifting further to the right and getting in. You have to put an end to the far right. It is your enemy.

Go tell the people suffering under Trump to just wait. Keep telling them to wait. Wait longer. Don't worry, help will eventually come. Just rot more under a far right government.
