To your second to last point I think there actually are quite a bit of Marxists who have talked about this, Zizek talks about this in that it's like an enclosure of our "digital commons" and that those tech giants make money off digital rent more than exploitation of labor.
I've looked it up and Cedric Durand wrote two books about these topics called "Techno Feudalism" and "Governing By Debt"
okay thanks that's the answer i was looking for actually, i knew it had to exist somewhere - going to check out the Durand books, i think the 2nd one specifically is what i was trying to find

btw i searched and Governing By Debt is actually Maurizio Lazzarato but Durand has a book called Fictitious Capital which on the same topic lol

Wait yeah that's what i meant got em mixed up
It's funny tho how u kinda alluded to the fact that for far rightoids their economic a***ysis essentially boils down to "finance capital bad other capital good" lmao @krishna_bound

Ofc they have some uhh interesting reasons for why finance capital is worse

that is basically what all their economic a***ysis comes down to, because they lack the toolset in their ideology to really be able to synthesize anything other abstracted means of scapegoating. Was talking about this with some other users like probably 150 pages ago now, but rwers don't have any means of addressing structures or systems because that requires propositions of alternatives, and the whole umbrella of ideology doesn't really account for that because it's based on applications backwards where it assumes the systems are independently amoral and only run by moral actors at any given time

Rightoids also always end up imagining small-scale capitalism or damn near medieval city economies when coming up with alternatives as if that won't grow into capitalism again the same way it did historically

A lot of it boils down to what they define exploitation as also. Most like far right people don't consider exploitation of labor or value to actually be exploitation;. They think that therefore if there's a universalized monoculture (a good monoculture i agree with you though not a bad one i disagree with of course) the problematic cultural/individual/etc exploitation wouldn't exist because the culture wouldn't perpetuate or allow it. So they think it wouldn't spiral into current capitalist models because there would be no incentive to "undermine culture" or "be subversive" or anything, as if those incentives come from anything other than economics.

If only we could go back to our last saved checkpoint

"we need to return to tradition"
the tradition:

This is really great a***ysis of people on the right.
What’s a good alternative to capital?
do you mean an alternative to the book or like the abstract concept of capital
do you mean an alternative to the book or like the abstract concept of capital
The book yes
Mostly breaking down the dynamics and mechanics of capitalism and how it’s contradictions become evident through such, how Marxist theory observe and solve parts of, etc etc

@ARCADE_GOON link that summary of capital by that flemish marxist
Lmao a liberal friend of mine said he read Capital and then he talked like commodity fethishism means liking products a lot
For those who don't know: A fetish is originally a religious term meaning you give something ordinary a mystical power. A totem pole is a painted wooden pole but becomes an idol object of worship. Commodity fethish is thus an a***ogy to religion. The commodity appears ordinary but with the "religion" of capitalism it actually has connotations beyond its mere physical appearance.
The term sexual fetish means you give some thing a higher importance sexually than it has for the average person, this term came later
tbh this was a useful post

first sentence is on point
explaining how capitalism is exploitation because of how profits are derived does nothing for them because they simply do not agree or they do not care
Aren’t labour vouchers just money with a different name
nah once u use a labour voucher its done it cant be exchanged for anything else, you have a LV u use it on a bike the LV is no longer valid for you to use again or the place u got the bike from, you cant accumulate capital like with money.

Wouldn’t that inevitably lead to a barter system where people exchange labour vouchers for goods they want more of to people who don’t care for said goods

im not too knowledgeable about LV, so I cant really answer that but I dont think most people who advocate for LV as a permanent fixture but more for temporary use
