Assuming every character has their own campaign, I'm gonna guess Tails, Knuckle, and Amy's won't be as long or in depth as Sonic's.
I'm imaging maybe they're just limited to their own island, and maybe smaller skill trees. Etc.
Either way, I'll take it

So modders have discovered that within the games Code it can be played without pop in.

Meaning that the game having pop in was most likely intentional.

Most a speculating the reasoning is probably because the game likely couldn't run at all on Switch without pop in. So they likely wanted to make it run similar on all platforms accommodating for Switch's performance(since Sonic games tend to sell the highest on Switch)

Sega really loves toying with the fans lol just like the movies they started off with a hype teaser followed up by mid showings and then they end up taking our expectations and throwing them out the window and we end up with some good really good content in the end.

This gotta be one of the more interesting sonic era’s in a long time

I remember this was a rumor you mentioned back when we first started getting details about the game. Glad it is coming true, definitely need Knuckles to be able to Glide all over.

Nah being able to play as other characters sounds like it'll be lit. It'd be fun to explore the islands in this game with a different means movement. Flying around as Tails or gliding and climbing up s*** as Knuckles. Amy's hammer launching her around. So many new and unique open zone challenges that can be made for each of those characters.

Just finished it up yesterday. It's good ass game forreal it does have its flaws but nothing I'd say ruins the game or takes away a lot from it. I got it day one cause I was already excited for the game so I didn't care about paying full price. But if/when it does go on sale definitely cop it well worth it.

That's a hard mode exclusive boss too. It is a bummer but from what I watched of it we really not missing much by skipping it. Still, after all those titan battles you'd like to see it crescendo with something bigger than a space shooter.

I say that like I didn't enjoy the final bosses in Sonic Rush and Rush Adventures though so
