Not where I live but they’re also 89.99 CAD so still a lot to pay for a game
Lucky. At least with physical you can resell though

True true. I don’t game as much these days and might buy 3-4 full price games a year so I don’t really mind. digital titles go for a great discount a few months after release anyways
They still charge tax even if it's digital
there’s no taxes on digital purchases in the U.S.
Where are you from?

The US... I just bought fifa 20 last week when it was on sale for $4.75 in the PS Store, ended up paying 5 something

damn you got finessed everything I buy in the psn store has no taxes
79 EURO for a game?
What type of teenager can afford that?
Sales about to take a hit.

that's only true in some states. Here in NC they used to not charge taxes online but now every site does it.
Real bad
There's a real psychological barrier between $59 and $69. $59 is rounded down to customers as 'pretty much $50' but $69 is really $70 and that's all the much closer to $100. And of course it's compounded if you're buying two games for $120 (basically $100) vs $140 (basically $150)

Yikes man
Good thing I aint getting no disc-less PS5, can just trade games and get that money back once im done with em
Not buying a ps5 for a couple years tbqfh. I think 60$ is already a bit much for a game don't see myself buying anything day one.
Lmaoooooooooo

Thoughts?
then why is spiderman only 50?
I think because miles morales was marketed as being sort of a smaller game, rather than a full sequel on the level of spider-man 2
So games like that, which aren’t a full title but something smaller
what? that's trash
something like GOW being $70 is one thing
playing $70 for these s***ty "movie-esque" games that just prioritize being explorative and GORGEOUS over actual quality...I dont f*** with those. and unfortunately, I think alot of them are the reason we kept demanding so much more and more out of studios. which has in turn led to this necessary price hike
