See, I bought 16 and sold it like 2 weeks later on eBay after I beat it

We can get digital credit from third parties but buying the game from some retailers is still cheaper in some instances (+ I can sell it on eBay so in the end it's still better to go this route)

I can't recall but I'm pretty sure I seen Sony doing some shady s*** around not being able to play your games if you don't log on for 30 days or something. Regardless, I wouldn't trust them with something like that.

Someone also made a good point earlier that all this s*** depends on the Playstation Store being up indefinitely and I'm not the biggest fan of that. The loss of physical disks really increases the chance that in the distance future some of these games just become lost media (though thankfully we got geniuses that will probably create an emulator or something)

Haven't bought physical in years anyways. I'm not some crackpot that thinks Sony is gonna lock me out of my games someday or something.

I think it’s pessimistic to think Sony is going to immediately make digital a worse user experience. I get that they’re a corporation but that doesn’t mean they’ll make everything worse and worse each generation just because. They reach a point where they risk completely ruining their reputation and then they will fade out of existence

Another way to put it, if you piss off physical owners, then piss off digital owners, what do they have left? Even if they’re evil, they won’t constantly be dumb for no reason, it just won’t work if they alienate everyone
