I f***ing hate dorks who comment this when it doesn't apply but I can't look past the Kate Bush-iness of it all

I mean while the Kate Bush influence is undeniable, I’d say this is just a lot more of a push into the electronic and baroque pop angles than Kate ever quite went into. There’s definitely very modernized elements here that help make it feel like it’s own work. This is no where near as derivative of better previous works like Gambinos Awaken! My Love or Steven Wilson’s Hand Cannot Erase is. I can say while I do hear Kate Bush, I definitely don’t think anything on here actually sounds like a Kate Bush song or quite honestly anything I’ve heard before.

this reminds me a lot of Titanic Rising by Weyes Blood on first listen, just because of cinematic it feels

the string sections, the swells of instrumentation and all the subtle flushes through out really just take this to the next level
