This. Though I really liked the movie I really wanted the 2nd one to be Miles only. It feels like they don't believe miles can stand on his own film. And that might not be the case but that's how it comes across

All multiverse movies are bad

In 20 years this era will be looked back at with disgust. It’a already reached the point of parody, eventually people are going to get fed up with this nonsense

Never question greatness

The whole hook of this series is the multiverse aspect, they didn't just shoehorn it in after NWH success or something.
The man's girlfriend is from the multiverse, him not being like other Spideys is major part of his identity, plus he even became Spidey due to the multiverse.
Also you're acting like they use multiverse just as an excuse for the cameos like in NWH or like Multiverse of Madness. The whole Dad-canon multiverse event thing and his relation with Gwen make the stakes way more personal, despite the consequences being multiversal.

I don't see how a grounded intimate movie without multiverse would benefit the series in any way. Would just be a downgrade and similar to other takes on Spidey, and decrease the opportunities for them to go crazy with the visuals.

I said this after the first one

"I hope the next one doesn't over focus on the love interest angle"

for the 3rd movie the love would be more earned and give them both the time to develop rather than the instant simping drawing her. Go on dates live a life more other than both in superhero mode. Tha tis just my take though

I made no mention of no way home and have often said it is meh. I wanted him to be more spiderman and less beholden to multiverse. Nigga I know why he became spiderman. I am still saying the opportunity to have an more intimate story is something I WANTED. You DONT NEED TO RATIONALIZE IT TO ME . I GET IT.

Gwen being the suspect makes NO SENSE. Relation with Gwen she can carry her own and gladly isnt damsel in distress. Anyone that dies can be alive in another dimension which is okay and cool. Visuals are dope but there is a lot they could do with the visuals showing things even internal struggles of the mind is cool visuals ways without necessarily being multiverse. Multiverse isnt the only way to do cool animation styles

Multiverse isn't the only way to show "psychadelia" or cool visual styles in a universe that Mysterio, Spot, Goblin, Chameleon and more exist.

I am not saying all multiverse movies are bad s*** my ass likes Everything everywhere all at once but all movies like that Matrix, EEAAO and this have limits of what can be done vs grounding it every so often. If this s*** was immaculate to you and you dont see value of grounded story thats dope but dont involve me in your opinion just like mine its my opinion lol

Miles originated from multiverse but his main hook shouldnt be "wooo I am excited to see the cameos" he deserves more than that
