Atleast mad god had impeccable and extremely ambitious atmospheric world building and animation
I can say for sure I’ve never seen anything like mad god. Whereas story wise, spider verse is extremely generic

Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful movie, but it's legend is built more on its commercial success than his great it is. I'm not sure it's top 3 Miyazaki.
