"Hundreds of cash-strapped players accept a strange invitation to compete in children's games. Inside, a tempting prize awaits — with deadly high stakes."
What a show already on episode 5 and its edge of your seat stuff from start to finish. Its like a mix of star wars, battle royale/hungergames, and the platform.

Season 2:
still haven’t watched this yet. will prolly start sometime this week or next week. Got too much s*** to watch on my list atm to start this.
My homie says this is the best thing Netflix has done in a while, so I’ll watch it sometime soon
gonna watch this just for instagram.com/hoooooyeony
Korea stays killing it
just finished this. it was very well done and fun to watch. the premise set up a lot of challenges but the show delivered at a good pace with some entertaining twists
was a bit too violent and realistically gory for my taste but besides that and a few minor plot holes this show is great and I'd recommend to anybody who can stomach the blood
spoilers below
at times it was tiresome but I liked the metaphor of the rich white people paying to watch Korean violence. don't usually mind gore but it was hard to watch somebody hanging depicted that way
one plot hole that bothered me was the main character signing away his organs. thought it was due like a week later and there should've been at least a quick scene of him paying back his debt. also just leaving that kid with his friend's mom like she asked for that lol
so the set up for a season two will be a new round and with the main character using his resources to stop them? I'm in for sure, but I hope this show doesn't drop in quality like the other international Netflix cash cow Money Heist

baddie
Good damn it I was just looking for this thread but I’m on episode 4 now and man this show keeps going ways I didn’t expect and I’ll give them that
Plus Korean movie/tv is so fire and on its own level
Kinda dislike how this apparently is poppin off, it’s a clear ripoff of Kamisama No Ituro.
That’s a manga series (with a live action movie as well) where students are forced to play childeren games in order to become gods, even the first game is the exact same. The part from the trailer (I haven’t seen it myself yet) where they are let out from houses is the same as well. There’s even a similar mascot in the series. I’m sure there are many more similars in there as well but again haven’t seen it.
Just seen people praising it for being original but it’s not and the original is getting no love
